Arklow Rugby Football Club can be found at The Oval, Ballyrichard, Arklow, Co. Wicklow on Irelands South East Coast. The club grounds are located just off the Arklow Bypass and only 5 minutes from the centre of the town. We have two full pitches and a very well developed club house, the perfect place to spend a good afternoon watching rugby and enjoying a good drink with friends.

The primary aim of our club is to promote the playing of rugby for all who are keen to take part in the sport. This year I am particularly delighted to welcome all of the new members in our Women’s and Girls sections, we now have a full ladies senior team, the Arklow Amazons, an Under 18 girls team, the Arklow Jaguars, and a newly formed under 12’s girls team. It’s also really encouraging to see our senior men field a strong 2nd XV, to compliment our 1sts. Things are also looking good for the future with some very good performances in our youth section and really great numbers joining our mini’s. I therefore wish the players in all our teams, the very best for the season ahead in terms of success and enjoyment of the game.

As a truly amateur community club, we owe our continued success to the many volunteers and sponsors that are our lifeblood. Their tireless work and support, often behind the scenes, has without doubt been instrumental in making this a club that we can all be proud of. I am verygrateful to them all.

Whatever your interest in rugby, I assure you that you will find a very warm welcome at ARFC. I hope you find this web site informative and easy to use, but should you have any questions or comments, please visit the contact page where you will find details of those who can assist you.
